If you wonder about staying in your home, we can help;
- We provide information on a wide variety of services available to seniors
- Our volunteers are trained to assist seniors
- Our homemaker/home health aides are state certified
- Our nurses have spcialized training in public health and geriatrics
We bill Medicare, Medicaid and insurance as appropriate. We have a sliding
fee scale and supplement with funds raised by the Block Nurse Program
BLOCK NURSES can help you in many

- Assessment of health needs
- Symptom control of long-term illness
- Care after you leave the hospital
- Management of medications
- Nutrition
- Foot care
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy
- Communication with clinic, physician and hospital
- Family consultation
- Coordination of services
- Client advocacy
HOMEMAKER/HOME HEALTH AIDES can assist
you with many tasks
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Laundry
- Personal care -- bathing, shampoo
VOLUNTEERS are your helpful neighbors
- Friendship
- Supportive visiting
- Social activities
- Some transportation
The Block Nurse Program helps you
find other needed services
- House and yard work, home repairs
- Home delivered meals, groceries
- Transportation
- Adult day care or in-home help
- Respite care and caregiver support
